History of Narayani English Medium School

The best school in jeypore. This school had humble beginning in a 2 story building of a street in Jeypore. The vision for the school far exceeded its physical limitations. From the day of inception from 2003 as a coaching centre, the school undertook small activities but did every activity with emphasis on perfection on minute details. This habit encouraged the management to undertake larger roles and it transformed into a coaching center of class 11h and 12h of fine stature under the capable guidance guidelines of its founder late shri Prasana Patnaik. The school started in the year 2012 and the vision of its founder was carried forward by the sheer will power and the dreams of the founder. The school has developed the ethics of commitment, dedication, hard work, effective communication, contemporary training regimes and an effective monitoring framework with a single point goal of tapping in to the unlimited potential of its students. The school has served and shall continue to serve to the best of its capabilities for the betterment of the society.

We wander alone like the sun, learning how to depend on mind such that it will work to realize the supreme goal of life. We strive to make our life and body impervious to suffering, conquering everything in our path ourself, practice it every day and teach our beloved students to achieve the same.

Narayani aims to be a culture in itself which provides ideal ingredients to its students to realize their innate potential and to become worthy wholesome citizens of this great nation.

As said
” You get what you work for not what you wish for” . NEMS embarks every academic year on a journey in persuit of academic excellence,creative brilliance and all round development of students. For the upcoming year too we are ready with balanced curriculum, a plethora of activities with this fast changing technology environment ,so to let our students explore, make decision and satisfy curiosity. I can never forget the untiring efforts of management for the upliftment of school with total commitment. The cooperation from well trained staff proved always beneficial in very sphere, balancing hardships and facing challenges! Most importantly they are giving their best to create a Ray of hope. Even Noble Covid-19 pandemic could not stop the process of learning! I greatly appreciate our four pillars i,e Our Management, Teachers, Students and Parents as they all contemporary adopted themselves with fast changing technology in the process of learning!
As educators our task here at NEMS is to help the students to accept themselves as they are and accept criticism and failures as stepping stones to success. We try to build their self confidence and self esteem so that they are well prepared to face the challenges and plunge into the ocean of opportunities that are in front of them.Our teachers are trained to be facilitators, helpers and guides in the learning process rather than imposers of their will on the children. They recognize and believe that each child is unique with a different capacity to learn and imbibe knowledge. They are always mindful of this uniqueness. At NEMS the relationship between the Teachers and the Students is symbiotic. In other words, it is based on mutual love, care and respect! We want to mould a generation who can serve and succeed not only in their respective careers but also in serving humanity and develop empathy and sensitivity towards the world at large. For inculcating the true spirit of humaneness, We wish to create an atmosphere where the students may grow with a true spirit of tolerance and respect for all religions, reverence for elders, sensibility to their cultural heritage and courage to face the challenges of life.
